CSI # 37 & Once Upon A Sketch - Summer Days
Well doing well another challenge finished. This one I have really enjoyed it has my favourite colour in it blue. Tracy is always out and about in Darwin. She was at the V8's in this photo enjoying the sunshine and lovely warm weather. This is another week of http://csicolorstoriesinspiration.ning.com and http://onceuponasketchblog.blogspot.com.au/ combining their challenges. Great idea I think.
The colour scheme was: black, white, medium light grey, deep blue sky and dark red.
The sketch from OUAS.
Evidence: Dots, red spotty tissue wrapping paper, circles
Testominy: I handwrote my journaling and used the word break
Products I used:
I decided to go a bit different and work on a black background. I sprinkled white liquidex ink around the page then used chipboard circles which I then painted with mm waterslide and kaiser cool grey paint. I used a white cotton doiley, manor house, green tara and prima flowers and a pima swirl to finish it off.
it is so happy and bright! i like the black background and contrasting details on it!
