Alicia's Card Sketch Challenge - May

Image
Alicia has a new Card Sketch Challenge up on her blog ( here ) and she asked me to interpret it as part of my commitment to the Scrapbook Fantasies Design Team.  I love creating cards, and not just because I teach cardmaking at Scrapbook Fantasies either.  You can find the sketch here . Kaiser Saturday Sketch May #1

Image
This photo was taken on my wedding day six years ago. My Dad had been very sick a number of strokes and a bit of time in hospital. So I had my Mum and my Dad both walk me down the isle(or up the garden path) so to speek as we got married in our front garden. I used the Kaiser Saturday Sketch #1 for May and all Kaiser products, the papers were from the Sweet Nothing Collection ( Love letters, Silver Lining) the orange flowers were Kaiser as well and the rest came from my flower box (sometimes they are a bit of a mystery) and I also added some bling and Glitz brown teeny alphas.

As time goes by

This is a challenge from  Kraft It Up . You can only use Kraft cardstock  as your base and three kraft items on your layout. I really like using kraft so nice to work with. This is my Great Grandma (Dorothea Pheasant)  on her wedding day she was only 18 years of age. Back then they had arranged marriages, I guess she wasn't very happy about it. Not sure what year it was in over 100 years ago I do know that. She was married in South Africa.
