Memory Maze DT Piece

Dare To Dream  Hi everyone Candy here again  bringing you all an 8 x 10 inch canvas  using Memory Maze chipboard pieces.  From my stash I grabbed a 8x10 inch canvas  I also had a  Kaiser craft wooden fancy frame  I wanted to use as well,  so I glued these together and then covered them  with printed tissue paper.  Make sure you use something like matt medium  as you need these to be strong.  It was very dark so I gave the canvas  a light coat of gesso.  I used a mask from Memory maze and texture paste  to cover the top of the frame.  I sprinkled some clear embossing powder over the top  while it was wet and heated it,  trying to make bubbles for extra texture.  I then sprayed with Lindy's sprays  I used four colours start with the lighter colour first.  I lightly went over the top of the texture paste  with some gold leaf paste.  Just give it a bit of bling.  I then used the grape vines, butterfly and bird cage

Hi everyone Candy here bringing you all another tutorial using the lovely mood board for October. I just love the beach and these colours just are the right combination. I have used Kaiser craft Sandy Toes Collection to create my layout. I have used Sandy paper for my base of my layout and then tore strips from waves and sunshine papers. I stuck these down and then curled the torn edges so it looks like waves breaking. I then added flowers, leaves, shells string and a resin bird from my stash.  Product used Kaisercraft Sandy Toes Collection -  Waves, Surf, Beach bun, Sunshine, Sticker Sheet Cotton string Prima flowers, resin bird Sea shells Thank you for visiting Candy Chelepy 2015 Design Team Off The Rails Scrapbooking

Decorated Fan and Card

Hello everyone Candy here  bringing you all my first project for October project. Thanks to Jodie for covering me last month, it is my turn now to repay her. Once again I have dived into my mighty stash box and found a fan that has been waiting paitently  to be decorated.  Firstly I have sprayed the fan with some gold spray. Then while that is drying I have used the swirl pieces from the 12x12 chipboard sheet.  I heat embossed the chippies with gold  digger embossing powder and then dotted Platinum pearls along the swirls Once this was all dry I place them onto the fan with a good strong glue like Helmar 450, tied a big fluffy bow then placed the flowers how I wanted them. When you have done this, finish off with perfect pearls along the top of the fan.  Product used White fan, Lindy's Starburst Wake me up before you go gold spray,  Shimmerz gold digger enamelz, Liquid Pearls Platinum pearl and green tara flowers, ribbon and some tear drop sprays

Happy Little Vegemite

Welcome everyone Candy here with you all  again,  Is it the end of October already? With  Christmas  just around the corner, scarey thought heh. Today I have completed a layout for you using the wording Happy Little Vegemite. Thinking to myself I need a photo of one of my children with vegemite all over their faces, but no go. So I had to think out of my box and create something with a big kid in the photo. For my son fishing and catching his first Barra in Darwin made him very happy. So this is what I have come up with. I have used Teal Damask and Rusty Keys Chalk ink (Prima) and daubed them over the words. When it dried I covered with Dimensional magic. Memory Maze Product  Happy Little Vegemite And now for my second project I have made a 4 x 8 inch card with the firetruck. I have painted it with gesso first then with some red paint. Then using a silver zig pen I drew the ladder and headlights on the truck. Then I have used a black sharpie an
