Art Journaling

Image
Over the last few weeks I have been creating in my journal. All sorts of things some she art designs, Julie Nutling stamps and some creations of my own. These are all created in my A4 art journal. This is the latest one, I just love this one:      With this one we have a free mixed media morning at scrapbook fantasies we sometimes give each other little challenges. With this one I had a large bird so we all took a template and had to create a page with it.   This is one of my own.   These last three are all she art girls made from the she art girl templates

So come along and learn a new technique at scrapbook fantasies The classes start at 10am and go to about 12.00, so come along and have a chat, a laugh with a great mob of girls.

Kaiser - Bundle Of Joy

I really enjoyed using this Baby range from Kaiser. You always have plenty of photos of your first born. I know I  have. This is my daaughter Tracy at 3 months old. Her hair is dark as dark and heaps of it.  Well this is me at 6 months with no hair, bald as a badger. lol.       I also serendipitied the frame so lovely.       And some cards :Two for the girls    This is an easel card       And now one for the boys.         These are all on display at Scrapbook Fantasies.

A bit of inspiration

Image
I was just flipping through one of my many magazines I get each month and I noticed this idea. And I then had a big hit of inspiration I will just have to give this a go.  So here it is.   I used one of the mannequins that we sell at the shop. I then covered it completely with plain white tissue paper and then added a piece of Tim Holtz tissue paper to give it a bit of umph. The skirt is a piece of stretch lace with sequins sewn on it. Sell that but the metre at the shop to. The top is a piece of my embrodiered top I cut up for my canvas (the sleeve part) see never throw anything away it always can be used. The flowers are from prima and the black velvet ribbon is available from the shop to by the metre.   I have added a piece of black velvet ribbon to the top of her neck and added a bit of bling. This is on display at scrapbook fantasies if you would like to get a look at it. And it is for sale.

More Lulu and Roy

Image
I thought I should add little more to my blog I have been a bit slack lately. I finished off what was left of the Lulu and Roy designer kit from scrapbook fantasies . This kit was a challenge I found it very bla that is the only way of discribing it. So I finished another page and some cards and here goes.   This is my Mum and Dad on my wedding day, still have heaps of photos to scrap. I then did four cards as well.       I had enough paper left over to do the inside of the cards as well.     I just love to use the Martha Stewart heart border punch I think it is one of my favourites.        And here are my last two cards.

A little bit more creating

Well I had a very productive 4 days off over the Easter break. I thought I would try, and try hard to finish some of my Ufo's and guess what I did finish some. This page was taught in a class at Scrapbook Fantasies   by Stacey Young and this class I really enjoyed plenty of flowers. I decided to take this page a bit further, I put it on a canvas and just extended the flowers, photos etc. So here it is:      For those who don't know this photo is of my Laurie and I, (our two children Tracy and Michael and my dear Mum and Dad) on our wedding day 7 years on the 30th April how time flies. We now have been together for 33 years now in total. Hmm that has flown by.   For the background I cut up one of my lovely lace tops and stick it onto the canvas that was a bit hard, but I do not know about you but me and white do not always mix. The products are all from Prima. This is going up to my Mum and Dad's place to hang on there wall. I just love it, it is displ
