Hi everyone I have been busy so far this month and I thought I would make something a bit different and do a little mixed media as I haven't done anything like that for a while. This is for my monthly Off the Rails Scrapbooking design team piece. we had to create something using the mood board. And this is what I have created using the moodbaord I used a piece of A4 cardstock and covered it well with some clear gesso. I then applied my mask and texture paste and dries well. Using the gelatos I just coloured here and there with the different colours.   And rubbed then in gently with my finger and spray water. Let this dry well. I then applied the mask and texture paste over the top again. I went around the edges of my cardstock with some black gelato. And using a fan brush splatter black ink over.  I also went around the edges with the fan brush as well. Using the black gel pen go around the words butterfly and branches to make these

Hi everyone Candy here with a creation I have been working on for some weeks now. I am making an altered embrodery hoop for a  swap group I am in and I had to make a banner so here it is. Sorry it is fairly big and hard to photograph, but I did my best. I have made this using some 12 x 12 chipboard. Cutting three triangle pieces and covering them with paper, lace and plenty of pretties. They are decorated both front and back.  But on the back it is really simple. This is the middle banner This is the left banner  And this is the right one I cut the frame in quarters and using the gold and white embossing powder, embossed them all but I only used three at the top of each one. I did the same with the double hearts and the word love. Memory Maze products small wrought iron frame Double heart and arrow flat banner words 12 x 12 chipboard Other products used Kaisercraft Wildflower coll
