Hello everyone Candy here bringing you my last tutorial for the month of February for  Just add flair I thought I would make some cards as my card box is getting very low, a really good way of doing it. I used a full sheet of 12x12 inch cardstock and cut one piece at 4x12 inches then two at 6x8 inches, fold all these in half. I have used pattern paper from the Simle stories collection I have just cut my papers a little smaller than the cards. This one is a shaker card Just add flair products Faye flair buttons Fae flair buttons Other products White cardstock Simple stories love and adore collection papers, ephemera, stickers and die cuts Paper flowers thin gold washi heart sprinkles white and yellow doily lace flowers from my stash resin flowers thank you for visiting Candy Chelepy 2017 Just add flair Design team member

Hello everyone today it is my turn to create a layout using some chipboard                                                          product for  Memory Maze                                    My layout has another photo of my grand daughter Zarna Rose                          I am  being a bit biased here but never get sick of creating layouts about her. I purchased a kit from Kitaholics and most of this is from that. I have used black cardstock for the back and cut down my pattern paper  1/2 inch two sides only. I cut a V at the side of my pattern paper and curled the edges. Tape this to the black background and I then cut the frilly part from a pink doiley. Gathered it up and and glued well into the V part (just on one side). I have added flowers, ephemera, sparklets, epoxy stickers  and a flair button to my background.  I also used a black pen and went around my page and and the flowers  to make these stand out a bit more.

Monochromatic Red

Hello everyone today on  Creative Inspirations we have a Friday Mini crop day. This month I am the Guest designer. Go on over and check out what the other girls have come up with. When I decided to do a monochromatic project I thought this would be easy. But how wrong was I Red is a colour that I don't create with much, mainly at christmas. So I dived into my christmas paper stash looking for anything red. I didn't want my project to look christmassy at all. So this was a challenge. Thank goodness for Lindy's sprays they are a savour. I have decorated a large gift bag. Sorry the photo colour isn't that great. I used a large red gift bag and covered it with pattern paper both sides of the bag I had some red hessian in my stash so I glued this to the top of the bag on front and back of the bag. Then added a strip of red rose trim I coloured the large white paper doily with the Lindy's spray and when it was dry I used the scr

2017 Diary

Welcome again to another month.  February is here and I am first up on the  Memory Maze blog. I bought myself a boring black diary for this year with the intentions of decorating it. Turning it into something beautiful Firstly I painted around the edges of my diary with some white gesso. I had to give it two coats to cover the black. I had some scraps from a Kaisercraft range left sitting on my desk.  I covered the back, front and spine with the paper using matt medium as  I knoew I wanted to use media on the front. Then I took some more scraps and collectables from the same range and placed them on top of each other until I was happy with them. Stick these down as well then I curled the edges. I used some light molding paste and a circle mask Placing this all over the front of the book.  I sprayed the three colours letting them dry between coats. I stamped the background using archival black ink and a script stamp also went around the sides

Today we have been asked the Design Team for Just Add Flair by the  Sponsor co-ordinator for Off The Rails to do there monthly  Mood board for February as they are one of the sponsors . So here goes.  The photo is of Laurie and myself much much younger version lol. And look no grey hairs hehe Now the base of this layout was one that I created a while ago.  You know the ones that don't turn out they eay you want them to.  I store mine in a box and when I was packing to move I found them. So I thought I had better use them, all I did was add more spray here and there and a little glitter. And walla new background. Here is the Mood board Just Add Flair Sorry couldn't find the right flair button but there are plenty to choose from. Other products used Kaisercraft white and pink cardstock Kiasercr
