50 Today
Welcome to my first tutorial for the month of April
for Memory Maze
Wow can not believe it is the beginning of April how time flies
when you are having fun.
It is my nieces birthday on the weekend and she is having a party
the Big 50.
So I thought I would make her an album to keep all her precious photos in.
I started by using a Kaisercraft 6x8 inch D ring binder and with some gold paint,
paint around the edges and the spine iside and out.
I cut papers to fit the front, back and the spine of the folder.
Mine measured 8 1/4 x 9 inches and the spine piece was 1 1/2 x 9 inches.
I distressed around the edges of my papers and taped down using wide strong tape.
I had bought some lace packs from a recent craft show, using the cream
lace I measured the front, back and spine. Cut out the rectangle then
using the soft gel I glued down.
I then cut the pink flower lace to size 6x9 inches and glued that down as well
onto the spine, fron and back. Then added a fancy lace ribbon piece to the front.
Front
I used the oval, swirls, letters, numbers and the word love.
I firstly mixed some white and gold embossing powder together.
Covered them with the versamark then a good covering of the powder.
I used the gold embossing powder on the numbers, letters and the word love.
Glue the swirls to the front of the oval piece, then glue your photo underneath.
Glue this onto the front of your album.
Add your flowers, bling swirls and the rest of your chippies using good glue.
We don't want these to fall off.
