Hello You

Image
Welcome ladies nearly the end of August wow the year is going so fast. Today I have created a layout using a  Memory Maze heart template and fancy frame. And of course my beautiful grand daughter Zarna Rose. And she does like the camera. I have applied some mint texture paste over the heart  mask moving this around where I want my photo and frame. The squares I cut from a full sheet of paper.  Then used an edge distresser around all the edges. The frame I covered well with the silver texture paste, daubing all over. This has given a crackle messy affect. When this was dry I glued on my photo to the back of the frame. Add this to where I wanted it , then using foam tape under all the squares. Taping them around the framed photo. Add all the flowers and glass hearts,  then scribble around the edge of the layout and the small squares. Welcome everyone to another month of creating.  for the  Memory Maze  design team Today I have used some mixed media on my layout.  I firstly covered my cardstock with some clear gesso.  Using a ruler and a black stabilo pencil I drew black lines across the middle of my cardstock, some darker than the others. Spray these with water and let run. Carefull not to make your cardstock to wet. It will fall apart. You can dry between water sprays if you like.   Use a pencil to mark where you want to place your photo, then spray with some spray just around where your photo is to go. Dry this well. The chipboard I covered with versamark  then a couple of coats of the embossing powder.  Place all your papers, flowers and the rest of the embellies onto your layout. And then splatter some white ink around. Memory Maze products Mask Arrows Grunge Stick frames Junk yard diamond Other pr...

Welcome welcome ladies. This month we have a great colour challenge from  Off the Rails You could create with african animals, zoo or just do the colour challenge, which was what I decided to do. I have used orange, red and yellow on my layout. This took me right out of my box as orange is not a favourite colour of mine and I struggle to use it.   I decided to use a very old Kaisercrqaft Collection Curiousity.  I cut three papers at different sizes, then taped them to the background. I then covered the background with clear gesso  as I wanted the splatters of yellow and my stamping to stand out.  My photo is raised with foam tape, adding the red lace under the photo and up along the top right side of my paper. Using a leaf die I cut out three leaves, one of these are cut apart. I added collectable flowers under the flowers then layered everything else. Adding the flair button. I covered my photo and splattere...

Mixed media tags

Hello hello welcome everyone.  I have had these tags in my stash for a while and thought I would give them a mixed media overhaul. I have created these for Memory Maze Both  tags I covered with some scrap paper from my stash using some matt medium making sure the scrolls and penny farthing bike stick to my base. My first one has the penny farthing bike on it. After the base is dry I used a script stamp and stamped all over it with \ black stazon ink. I glued on the metal flower and leaves,   then the resin flower in the middle of the flower. I then sprayed with the indigo and turquiose sprays,   went over the top of everything with the black stazon ink pad I glued on the flowers and butterfly and the phrase Beauty. Splatted with the black ink then when that was dry  went over using my finger with the crystalina glitter. Memory Maze products Chipboard tag No 1 Penny farthing bike Tag no 2 ...

Welcome everyone Candy here with another project for Off The Rails for the 9th  May. Wow how the months are flying by,  it will be Christmas before we know it. The layout I have created using the Kaisercraft Ubud Collection.  I thought this would suit the mood board perfectly.  And also the photo of my daughter Tracy fishing. We aslo had to use feathers on our project which I though the feathers would soften, making it a bit more feminine. Here is the moodboard Poducts used Kaisercraft kraft cardstock Kaisercraft Ubud collection - Telaga and baya papers - Collectables and sticker sheet Kaisercraft coffee spray mist Kaisercraft doily template mask Ranger texture paste clear gloss Bo bunny paper doily feathers, flowers and shells from my stash Thank you for visiting Candy Chelepy 2017 Dt member
