Welcome everyone to another month of creating.  for the  Memory Maze  design team Today I have used some mixed media on my layout.  I firstly covered my cardstock with some clear gesso.  Using a ruler and a black stabilo pencil I drew black lines across the middle of my cardstock, some darker than the others. Spray these with water and let run. Carefull not to make your cardstock to wet. It will fall apart. You can dry between water sprays if you like.   Use a pencil to mark where you want to place your photo, then spray with some spray just around where your photo is to go. Dry this well. The chipboard I covered with versamark  then a couple of coats of the embossing powder.  Place all your papers, flowers and the rest of the embellies onto your layout. And then splatter some white ink around. Memory Maze products Mask Arrows Grunge Stick frames Junk yard diamond Other pr...

Adventure

Welcome welcome ladies. This month we have a great colour challenge from  Off the Rails You could create with african animals, zoo or just do the colour challenge, which was what I decided to do. I have used orange, red and yellow on my layout. This took me right out of my box as orange is not a favourite colour of mine and I struggle to use it.   I decided to use a very old Kaisercrqaft Collection Curiousity.  I cut three papers at different sizes, then taped them to the background. I then covered the background with clear gesso  as I wanted the splatters of yellow and my stamping to stand out.  My photo is raised with foam tape, adding the red lace under the photo and up along the top right side of my paper. Using a leaf die I cut out three leaves, one of these are cut apart. I added collectable flowers under the flowers then layered everything else. Adding the flair button. I covered my photo and splattere...
