We had a frame that came in damaged into the shop and decided to give it a dressing up. Here I have used Prima and Kaiser flowers, Kaiser bling swirls and pearl bead ribbon and some shells that I had in my stash. We can make these frames to order any colour you would like, depends of course what we have left in stock.
Looks better in real life, had fun doing this one mostly because blue is my favourite colour.
Come and join me and the girls at http://www.scrapbookfantasies.com.au for my weekly card classes. The class starts at 10am every Monday morning and all you have to bring is yourself and your card making gear.
This is last weeks class 7th January:
We played with heat embossing and a bit of stamping and also cutting out, just a little.
This weeks class 14th January:
We played with pan pastels all the girls had a lot of fun. They really enjoyed using them.
Once a month at http://www.scrapbookfantasies.com.au they hold there card club which is free to anyone who wishes to come, it is usually held on the 2nd Saturday of each month. This months theme is monocromatic cards mine was pink. Colours where put into a hat and you had to pick one out . You have to make a certain amount of cards I usually make 12 as it is an easy number of cards to make and any leftovers I usually put in my spare card box for birthdays etc.
This is my pink card
I have stamped the rocking chair with ordinary pink ink and then embossed with pink embossing powder the teddy bear onto the chair.
Then you if you wish can purchase a kit for $2.50 and make a card. This then goes into a competition and the customers get to vote. You are allowed to add to these kits all I have added is the bling swirl and the small flowers.
Every month at http://www.scrapbookfantasies.com.au they have an adult and kids page competition and a card challenge(copic and traditional) these kits cost only $5.00. You have to use at least a piece of everything in the kit and not allowed to add anything except inks etc.
Here are my pages and cards:
This page is the Adult page competition.
I have used the $5.00 kit
For the background I have used some irredescent medium mixed with some black acrylic paint and then put over a mask. Then I dribbled some white liquitex ink over the top.
I try and do the kids competition pages as well every month. So here goes.
The white background which you can hardly see as it is covered up with the Kaiser paper has been sprayed with dylusions postbox red, coloringz pink stillettos and lime in da coconut.
Now these are my cards for the card competition.
This card is my copic card entry, very simple as usual. This stamp came of the latest creativity magazine, just loved the stamp and wanted to use it on something. Sorry have to make a note of what colours I use for the copic colouring from now on. I have just punched out a couple of flowers using a ek punch.
Now for my traditional card.
I have coloured the stamp with Tim Holtz distress ink pens and then heat embossed with gold over the top and have used the same flower and leaf punch for this card.
I buy a spare card kit and also do a page wih it.
The background I used the splat mask and put some texture paste over the top, then sprayed the background with candy corn and black glimmermist. Then replaced the mask over the page and sprayed the splats with the black glimmermist.
With a little push I will just say from Alicia and Mar I gave this a go, had so much fun doing this. You just let your creativity flow into what you are doing. So much fun.
This first one is one I started with Nancy Stockman http://www.nancystockmann.com when she came to visit us at the shop last month. With a gentle push, thump and a bang no Nancy is such a lovely lady, she let me create something. I did not know where to start but I liked what I saw when I finished. These pages where my own creations I used the Golden paints and pastes etc.
The Title is "I Believe in Myself"
And this was the second one:
I decided to us Tracy's prom photo I just printed the photo onto ordinary copy paper in both black and colour. I have used leftover beads and cut up one of the lace panels left over from making her dress. I have stamped, glued and sprayed and got my hands dirty. So much fun.
This is the 12x12 canvas panel I did it is still not finished not sure what to do next but I will create something I am sure.
This is heaps of fun so give it a try it is so much fun.
